HTML/CSS Website Building
During my time at Baruch College I made it a priority to take classes that I found interesting and also classes that will help build on my marketing skills. We are in a digital era and in my last semester I took a Design of Internet course. I was able to refresh my memories of the basic HTML coding. The video above is my main page for the class, where all my projects throughout the semester were linked.
Site One
This is the first site in a series that will link back to our retro homepage. The website includes five pages: index.html, two.html, three.html, four.html, and five.html. Note that the first page of the series is always named index.html—making this our second index.html assignment of the semester. This site must be linked from the main homepage via an image.
Hyper Haiku*
Haiku is a traditional form of Japanese poetry consisting of a 17-syllable verse structured into three metrical units of 5, 7, and 5 syllables. We are using our coding skills to visually structure the poem, changing the typography, images, and hyperlinks for each individual line.
Ms. Teen Potato Head
This project integrates advanced CSS layout techniques with digital asset creation. Using Photoshop, assets were cut, manipulated, and exported as transparent PNGs. On the development side, the project demonstrates a strong grasp of HTML and CSS architecture through the strategic use of div tags, classes, IDs, absolute positioning, and z-index layering.
CSS Landscape
The core objective of this project was to master CSS positioning and coordinate manipulation. The assignment challenged us to deeply understand layout rules and bend them to our design goals. Furthermore, it served as an exploration into object movement and responsiveness across the digital viewport.
Net Art
This project is an interactive net art piece designed to explore user agency, digital choices, and psychological behavior through a minimalist, choice-driven web interface. Built entirely within the browser, the experience functions as a digital choose-your-own-adventure narrative.
